TRAVEL PLANS || 2013, USA || Drama || Directed by – Ted Fendt / Produced by – Sage Einarsen / Starring – Rob Fini, Mark Simmons / Running time: 7 mins.

Ted Fendt’s short film from 2013 is once again concerned with the character of the ordinary “loser” youth. His style, which seems consistently defined by a homemade outlook and almost purposeful bad acting, makes it a required taste, much like the rest of his films. Here, he follows a young man who talks with some friends about possible future travel plans.

Any assumption about reflections of procrastination of modern life is probably up to the individual viewer. In a more general life, Travel Plans‘ standards are quite low, and feels like nothing more than a student film of sorts. – 2/5
