To mark its 70th edition, the Locarno Film Festival has launched a digital competition, #movieofmylife, designed to give everyone a chance to tell the world about the film that changed their life.
Entrants are invited to talk about a film that changed their life on a video that may be shot in any format and in any language. The videos must be no longer than 70 seconds, and the title of the movie may only be mentioned at the end. Videos may be uploaded on a specially created platform, www.movieofmylife.ch
The first entries include videos from film director Dario Argento, Locarno Festival President Marco Solari and former Locarno Festival Artistic Directors Marco Müller and Frédéric Maire.
