Season of Japanese film at London’s Barbican Cinema, May 14-June 24

A season exploring Japanese architecture and the country’s unique environment on film will take place at the Barbican Cinema in London, United Kingdom on May 14-June 24.

The season will complement the Barbican Art Gallery’s exhibition named “The Japanese House: Architecture and Life after 1945.” The film season will feature the works of Iroshi Teshigahara, YasujirĂ´ Ozu, Sogo Ishii, Yoshifumi Kondo, Studio Ghibli co-founder Isao Takahata plus a rare chance to experience a Silent Film and Live Music screening with live Katsudo-Benshi narration.
