Actress Uma Thurman will preside the jury of Un Certain Regard, the second competition of the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival.
Thurman, the star of such films as Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and Terry Gilliam’s The Adventures of Munchausen, made her debut at the age of 17 in Stephen Frears’ period drama Dangerous Liaisons. In 2011, she was a member of the Cannes jury, headed by Robert De Niro.
The Un Certain Regard prize will be assigned on May 27.
